One Month in...
Our Vision
Recently, we brought back our fun community full of fearless and strong women to Morgantown, WV. We had a vision of empowering as many women as possible with the goal of providing effective and affordable group classes. Our expectations were exceeded in the first month. We recently transitioned to a fitness format to be able to streamline our registration and class sign-up process for our clients. We quickly learned that we had women in different areas throughout West Virginia, interested in our boot camp so we added a virtual format option for our clients with busy schedules and for those not located in our area. We currently have 59 women participating in our next BootCamp whether it be in person or virtually. It is exciting to bring all of these women together to create a community where they ALL feel like they belong.
Creating an Inclusive Environment
A group fitness instructor's job is to be an extrovert who creates a sense of belonging and encouragement for everyone in the room (and occasionally twerks lol). It can be challenging to create material that focuses on different fitness levels so having options for EVERYONE is important. That is a skill that is learned over years of teaching. With five-plus years of group fitness instruction, MissFits Training has the skills to adapt to a large class size and still make our way around the room to chat with every participant. We get to know every participant, their challenges, and their WHYs. Everyone in the room has a unique reason why they are there.
Our participants have become family. They support each other in and out of class. They love to get together outside of class time for an occasional brunch. If they see someone struggling, they are quick to assist them. We often do partner and team-building activities to help participants build a bond with each other. They love a friendly competitive game.
You may enter the room not knowing anyone, but you will leave feeling like a part of the MissFits family.
How You Can Join MissFits Training
We use a fitness format called Somble for class purchases and registrations. We are constantly running promotions and continuing to add content. We plan to create programs and On-Demand content with quick at-home workouts like a 30-minute express core or 20-minute Tabata. Check out our link to see what we have to offer.
