Reflecting on 2021
Wow!! 2021 has been challenging and rewarding at the same time. It has encouraged me to take the initiative to be better and do more. By doing so, I have accomplished many things I may not have without the frustration I had to go through first. Sometimes, it takes us to realize that our vision and values no longer align with where we are at and that it is okay to explore different avenues.
First, we'll dive into the professional accomplishment...
I chose to return to school to complete my bachelor's degree, not knowing the doors it would open up for me in such a short time. Since starting college again, this time during a pandemic. I have been inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success, a recipient of the Healthy Living Grant, started a successful fitness business with Empower Bootcamps and accepted a position in a different career field. I earned my neonatal pediatric specialty certification. Woooh! That was a lot.
Now, we'll look at the fun stuff...
My husband and I took the leap in selling our home and buying new construction. Holy smokes was this scary...AF!! But hey we did it and we are so happy we did. It was the perfect time for us mentally and financially. Who else took advantage of the crazy-low interest rates? I highly suggest checking into refinancing if you are able to. My husband started investing our money and purchasing NFTs. We will discuss passive income and letting your money make you money later on.
One of my goals, when we were planning to move, was to either move
where there is a community pool or where we could have one later on.

We were able to put a down payment on a pool and although the pandemic has been tough on this industry, it is working out for us. So we are hoping for no setbacks. We are scheduled for a pool installation in 2023.
